frequently asked questions

Do you do commissions?

Yes, let’s talk! Get in touch and we’ll discuss what it is you’d like for your home.

Do you donate to charity?

Since the majority of my inspiration comes from time spent outdoors walking in nature and exploring the hills and coastlines, I want to do what I can to help the planet. So I’ve decided to donate 5% of the price of every painting I sell to the charity Friends of the Earth.

What packaging do you use?

I do everything I can to be sustainable and do my bit to look after the environment. For that reason, your painting will be wrapped in recyclable packaging, and if it’s not recyclable (bubble wrap, for example) it’s packaging I’ve saved from deliveries I’ve received.

Do your paintings come ready framed? If not, is framing an option?

I don’t tend to ship my paintings ready framed, as I feel the frame choice is a very personal thing. But if you’d like to buy a painting ready framed, please let me know and I’ll do my best to work something out with you. Some of my paintings on paper are mounted and some aren’t, but the Etsy listing will explain if this is the case or not.

What kind of paint do you use?

I mostly used acrylic paint, although I sometimes use watercolour. I love using mixed media, so I often incorporate pastels, pencils and inks in my paintings.

What surface do you paint on? Canvas, wood panel or paper?

Honestly, I paint on all three, but I especially love painting on paper. Each listing on my Etsy shop explains whether the painting is on paper, wood panel or canvas, but please get in touch if you have any questions.
